I wander no more
But I can still see sparrows upon this tree
And hear them chirping every morning
Winds whispering in the dark
Talking to roads running long
Feels like the earth is only theirs
And we are nothing but aliens
Locked in a room.
If you would have wrote:'Talking to Roads running no long',it would have meant : Without Humans plying on Roads, these Roads have not been running actually. Life on Roads have come to stand still.
ReplyDeleteIt would have made more sense if you would have wrote what I suggested in my above-mentioned comment. But, I liked your attempt to write a poem & realised what you wanted to say, Dear Kiwi.
